Our Story
A friendship, an obsession with design, and a studio built on both.
Event Mode was born from a friendship, a shared obsession with design, and the belief that a wedding should feel like the most considered thing you’ve ever worn.
Talia and Maryam have been best friends long before they were business partners — bonded over colour palettes, textures, and the kind of eye for detail that makes people stop and stare. When they decided to build something together, Event Mode was the only thing that made sense.
Talia comes from the world of men’s fashion — years spent in the suiting industry where precision, silhouette, and fabric were everything. That background shaped the way she sees a wedding: as a full composition, not a checklist. Every drape, every tone, every table setting is considered the way a great suit is — nothing accidental, nothing wasted.
Maryam brings a deep passion for colour and atmosphere, with an instinct for how a space should feel as much as how it should look. Together, they’ve built a studio that sits at the intersection of fashion and feeling.
Event Mode is based in Melbourne and available to travel across Australia.
